It depends on more than square footage. Ceiling height, sun exposure, insulation, windows and occupants all change the load. As a Phoenix-area starting point, plan on about 1 ton per 500 to 600 square feet, then use our calculator or book a free load calculation for a firm answer. Oversized systems cool fast but leave the air clammy and wear out sooner.
Same-day service is available for most repair calls booked before 2 p.m. Emergency calls are dispatched around the clock and our average arrival time across the East Valley is 90 minutes. Total Care members are guaranteed a technician within four hours.
Replacement estimates are free and include a load calculation and duct inspection. Repair diagnostics are $89, and that fee is credited toward the repair if you go ahead.
Most single-system replacements take one day, and larger homes with duct changes take two. We protect floors, haul away the old equipment and run a full start-up and airflow test before we leave.
